Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba will visit China this week for talks on the war with Russia.
Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning said on Monday that Kuleba will visit China from Tuesday to Friday at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi.
"The main topic of discussion will be the search for ways to stop Russian aggression and China's possible role in achieving a sustainable and just peace," the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said in its statement.
Earlier this month, President Xi Jinping called on the international community to help Ukraine and Russia resume dialogue in a bid to resolve their conflict when he met with visiting Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban in Beijing.
