Hong Kong's stock market rallied on Wednesday with the benchmark Hang Seng Index closing up 2 percent at 17,344.

The Shanghai Composite Index ended up 2.1 percent at 2,938, while the Shenzhen Component Index closed 3.4 percent higher at 8,754. (Xinhua)
