Customs on Saturday said they arrested three men after finding nearly HK$6 million worth of suspected heroin inside a shipment of durians and mochi at the airport.
They said the air consignment containing 8.4 kilogrammes of the drug came from Malaysia.
Officers on Friday found 24 packs of heroin in the shipment, which was declared as carrying the pungent fruit and mochi.
They then arrested three men aged 25 to 53 in Mong Kok on the same day during a "controlled delivery operation".
The department added an investigation is ongoing.
