China's rhythmic gymnasts won the group all-around final at the Paris Olympics on Saturday, with Israel taking silver and Italy completing the podium.
Each team of five gymnasts had to produce their best performances with five hoops, as well as three ribbons and two balls. The scores were then added up to create a final total.
China topped the scoreboard with 36.950 points in the first routine with hoops and a medley of five musical compositions.
The national team continued their strong performance with ribbons and balls to score 32.850, to a total of 69.800.
China took home gold by a 0.950-point gap to beat Israel, who came in second with a cumulative of 68.850 points. Italy scored 68.100 to claim bronze.
Bulgaria, who won gold at the Tokyo Games, narrowly missed out on a medal despite an impressive comeback from an initial mistake.
The team received the highest score in the second routine, recovering from an error in the first performance where two hoops clashed in the air.
