The Observatory on Sunday cancelled the Amber Rainstorm Warning at 9am, after it had been in place for about three hours.

It is the second day in a row that the Observatory has issued the amber warning, as Hong Kong continues to be hit by heavy rain.

The government called on members of the public to report any flooding and warned employers, contractors and workers to be aware of electrical safety at work.

There were no reports of any incidents.
