Four people from Hong Kong have been arrested in Thailand on suspicion of drug trafficking.
Thai authorities seized 14kg of heroin and said the suspects tried to send the drugs to the SAR.
They were arrested at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport on Thursday.
In response to an inquiry from RTHK, the Immigration Department said it has confirmed the identities of those arrested through the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Hong Kong and the Chinese Embassy in Thailand.
The department added that it will follow up on the case.
