Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index fell 0.44 percent early on Thursday to open at 17,614 points as Asian shares followed Wall Street futures lower following results from Nvidia that disappointed some bullish investors

The Shanghai Composite Index opened at 2,829 points, down 0.28 percent while the Shenzhen Component Index opened at 8,031, down 0.60 percent.
