LIV golf is returning to Hong Kong in 2025, after the SAR hosted the golf tournament for the first time earlier this year in Fanling.
The tournament at Hong Kong Golf Club will be the third event of the League's 2025 season taking place from March 7 to 9, following two tournaments in Riyadh and Adelaide.
Hong Kong Golf Club captain Andy Kwok said in a statement they are looking to build on the success of the inaugural tournament and they are looking to bring back live music and their fan village for food and drinks.
“We saw record numbers of fans flock to Fanling from the Greater Bay Area and far beyond to watch the biggest names in golf and enjoy the carnival-like atmosphere, so that first event certainly proved there is an enormous appetite for mega sporting events of this scale,” he said.
“With the continued growth of the League and the huge global interest in it, 2025 promises to be even bigger, and the Club, which is one of the oldest golf clubs in Asia, is delighted to play its role in bringing LIV Golf to Hong Kong again for the entertainment of both Hong Kong residents and tourists alike.”
Kwok added that some of the sport's biggest stars will be in attendance next year, including Jon Rahm, Brooks Koepka, Cameron Smith and Phil Mickelson.
Earlier this year, Abraham Ancer claimed the individual title, while Crushers GC won the team event in the first LIV Golf Hong Kong tournament.
