The government has postponed a drone show at Siu Sai Wan Sports Ground on Sunday - the second straight night that a performance celebrating the 75th anniversary of the country's founding has been scrapped due to bad weather.
On Saturday evening, a drone display at the Wan Chai promenade organised by the group that runs the Wong Tai Sin Temple was called off an hour after its scheduled start time.
The organiser apologised to the crowd, many of whom had been camping in the rain, saying the decision was made over safety concerns.
The Home Affairs Department said the Sunday drone show has been pushed back to October 2.
It said tickets to the gala event, co-organised by the government and district groups, remain valid for the re-scheduled performances.
