A police officer was killed and another injured in a car crash while on holiday in Iceland.
Police said on Wednesday said they were deeply saddened by the incident. A spokesman said the force had offered their condolences to the officers’ families and would provide all necessary assistance.
The Immigration Department said it had sought more information from the Foreign Ministry’s Hong Kong office, as well as the Chinese embassy in Iceland.
“The department will continue to maintain close contact with relevant parties and actively follow up on the incident,” a statement read.
