A motorcyclist has been killed in a traffic accident in Tsuen Wan.

Police said the accident happened at around midnight on Route Twisk, not far from Kwong Pan Tin San Tsuen, when a Tsuen Wan-bound motorcycle was involved in a head-on collision with a private car travelling in the opposite direction.

The motorcyclist, 38, suffered serious head injuries and was unconscious as he was rushed to Princess Margaret Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 7.44am.

Police arrested the car driver, 24, on suspicion of dangerous driving causing death.

The New Territories South special investigation team of traffic is investigating the case.
