Two taxi drivers died on Saturday after being hit by a private car driven by a 40-year-old man who is suspected of failing to stop in time.
The drivers had been standing on the Kong Sham Western Highway exchanging their personal information and waiting for the police to arrive.
Police said a red taxi and a green taxi had collided at about 3 pm, as they were heading northbound, and both drivers had gotten out of their vehicles.
Both of them were rushed to Tin Shui Wai Hospital, where they were certified dead.
