Two taxi drivers died on Saturday after being hit by one of their own vehicles when a private car ploughed into the back of one of the two stranded cabs.
The drivers had been standing on the Kong Sham Western Highway exchanging their personal information and waiting for the police to arrive.
Police said a red taxi and a green taxi had collided at about 3 pm, as they were heading northbound, and both drivers had got out of their vehicles.
Both of them were rushed to Tin Shui Wai Hospital, where they were certified dead.
Officers said the car driver had been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving causing death.
A taxi passenger also suffered minor injuries, and was sent to Tuen Mun Hospital.
