Premier Li Qiang will be in Laos from Wednesday to attend regional summits.

According to the Foreign Ministry, Li will join the China-Asean, Asean Plus Three and East Asia summits in Vientiane.

The meetings involve Asean member states along with China, Japan, South Korea and other regional countries.

Li will also be paying a state visit to Laos.

Afterwards, the premier will make an official visit to Vietnam from October 12-14.
