Police on Friday said they have arrested a minibus driver on suspicion of drunk driving, which led to the death of a passer-by.
Officers said the minibus hit a 73-year-old woman at around 1:30 pm on Wednesday, when she was crossing a road in Sau Mau Ping.
The woman was sent to a hospital, and passed away on Thursday night.
The police found the 54-year-old driver intoxicated following a breathalyser test.
They arrested the man for alleged drunk driving and dangerous driving causing serious bodily harm.
