A worker was rescued on Friday morning after being suspended mid-air from a building in Kowloon Bay for about an hour.
The incident happened at around 9am when a suspended platform fell from the sixth floor of Telford House on Wang Hoi Road, leaving a worker hanging by his safety harness.
It is understood that the man was carrying out maintenance work on the building's exterior when a suspected mechanical failure caused the platform to drop.
Emergency personnel were called to the scene and brought the worker to ground safely.
