Hong Kong stocks rose in early trade on Monday in a week that's expected to be dominated by the US presidential election and a Federal Reserve meeting.
In the opening minutes, the Hang Seng Index was up 26.41 points, or 0.1 percent, at 20,532.84.
Americans vote on Tuesday in US presidential elections, while the Fed's two-day rate meeting begins on Wednesday. It's expected to result in a quarter percentage-point rate cut the following day.
