Hong Kong stocks have rebounded from losses a day earlier, thanks in part to hopes that mainland authorities would unveil further stimulus measures.to boost the world's second-largest economy.
The Hang Seng Index finished Thursday's trading 414 points or 2 percent higher at 20,953.
Mainland stocks also saw gains, with the Shanghai Composite Index up 2.57 percent to 3,470 and the Shenzhen Component Index putting on 2.44 percent at 11,235.
