A 19-year-old woman has died after being hit by a car in Yuen Long on Thursday morning. The car had been travelling along Yuen Long On Lok Road when the accident happened.

The woman was taken to Pok Hoi Hospital and then transferred to Tuen Mun Hospital, where she was declared dead in the afternoon.

Police arrested the 30-year-old man driving the car on suspicion of dangerous driving causing death. He has been detained for enquiries.
