Numerous children and adults were injured after a vehicle ploughed into a crowd outside a primary school in Hunan province on Tuesday morning.

CCTV and other state media reported the incident outside the Yongan Primary school in Changde city as students were arriving for the day.

Reports said the driver of an SUV was subdued at the scene.

It's not immediately known whether the vehicle had gone out of control or it was a deliberate attack. (Agencies)
