The Hang Seng Index dipped 0.2 percent to open at 19,623 points on Wednesday.

Mainland stocks also opened lower, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.25 percent at 3,337 points. The Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.32 percent lower at 10,709 points. (Reuters)
