Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index fell 58 points, or 0.3 percent, to open at 19,646 on Thursday.

Mainland stocks also opened lower, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.15 percent to open at 3,362 points. The Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.36 percent lower at 10,787 points. (Xinhua)
