The police on Saturday evening said a test event at Kai Tak had gone smoothly, and the results were satisfactory. They added that they think the venue they used is ready to host more events.
The third stress test at the Kai Tak Youth Sports Ground was designed to test communication and trust levels between various departments through scenario-based exercises.
The test involved 4,500 civil servants and 500 members of the public.
Unlike previous trials, designated seating was adopted this time.
The test kicked off at 3.30pm and was expected to run until 8.45pm.
One participant surnamed Cheung headed to the sports ground from Sung Wong Toi station.
He noted that there are some canopies along the way, but said that it would be better if there were more.
Cheung also told RTHK that he appreciated the signage from the MTR station to the venue, adding that the walk took less than 10 minutes.
"There are a lot of signs and staff. Everything is very clear. We definitely didn't take an unnecessarily long route."
But a man surnamed Au said his journey from the Sung Wong Toi area had many zig zag routes, which may take time for the public to familiarise with.
Police chief Raymond Siu revealed that officers from the tactical unit were deployed to the stress test.
