Hong Kong, mainland stocks edge higher at open

The Hong Kong and mainland markets opened higher on Monday.

The Hang Seng Index gained 77.37 points, or 0.4 percent, to 19,307.34.

The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.24 percent to 3,274.88 and the Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.23 percent higher at 10,462.44. (Xinhua)
