Hong Kong, mainland stocks open lower

The Hang Seng Index dipped 24 points, or 0.12 percent, to open at 19,722 points on Wednesday.

Mainland stocks also opened lower, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.07 percent at 3,376 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.13 percent lower at 10,700 points. (Xinhua)
