A train was badly damaged after it crashed into a crane in Shanghai on Sunday morning.
No one was injured in the accident.
Footage circulating online apparently captured the dramatic moment, when the moving train – running at full speed – collided with the crane.
Videos also showed the train suffering a substantial level of damage, with shattered glass all over the floor.
Shanghai Metro said on social media that the crane had "intruded" into the track and damaged facilities on route 11 of the network.
It said repairs are expected to take a considerable amount of time because of the complicated situation at the scene, adding that commuters should take other modes of transportation.
According to mainland media, two cranes were lifting a steel frame just after 8am, when one of them suddenly snapped and hit the moving train.
