Some mail was damaged in a fire at a post box in Sau Mau Ping on Friday morning, according to Hongkong Post.

It said police were looking into the fire at the post box outside Sau Mau Ping Post Office.

Hongkong Post said people who had used the post box from 4.30pm on December 24 can call its hotline on 2525 5856 during office hours to enquire about the status of their mail.
