Hong Kong, mainland stocks open lower

The Hang Seng Index opened at 19,390, down 56 points, or 0.29 percent on Wednesday.

Mainland stocks also opened lower, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.33 percent at 3,218.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.59 percent lower at 9,940 points. (Xinhua)
