Hong Kong's stock market ended lower on Wednesday with the benchmark Hang Seng Index down 0.86 percent to close at 19,279.84 points.

Chinese stocks closed mixed, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.02 percent to 3,230.17 and the Shenzhen Component Index 0.54 percent lower at 9,944.64. (Xinhua)
