Hong Kong's stock market ended higher on Friday with the benchmark Hang Seng Index up 0.31 percent to close at 19,584 points.
China's blue-chip CSI300 Index also closed up 0.3 percent, while the Shanghai Composite Index gained 0.2 percent.
The markets ended the week with gains, boosted by news that China's economy ended 2024 on a strong footing, helped by a flurry of stimulus measures.
The economy grew 5.4 percent in the fourth quarter from a year earlier, beating analysts' expectations and marking the quickest rise since the second quarter of 2023. (Xinhua/Reuters)
