Cathay Pacific says it will give its staff bonuses worth at least a month's pay following positive financial results in the past year.
In a letter to employees, CEO Ronald Lam said the final level will be announced alongside the company's annual financial postings in mid-March.
"I'm pleased to share that we will be distributing at least four weeks of eligible pay this year," Lam said on Thursday.
He also told staff that the company successfully completed its rebuilding journey last year, allowing flights to return to 100 percent of pre-Covid levels this month.
"Our strong financial performance for two years in a row also made it possible for us to commit more than HK$100 billion investments into further elevating our customers' experience in the future," he said.
Lam vowed to work towards Cathay's vision of "becoming one of the world's greatest service brands".
The company's four lines of business, namely Cathay Pacific, Cathay Cargo, Cathay Lifestyle and HK Express, have formulated robust plans to serve customers and deliver great profitability, Lam added.
