A motorcyclist has been hospitalised in a traffic accident also involving a truck on Lung Cheung Road on Wednesday morning.
Police received a report at 6:27am about a collision near Tai Po Road.
The truck driver allegedly lost control and mounted a slope, causing the vehicle to flip to its side and fall onto the motorcyclist.
The motorcyclist was eventually freed by firefighters and rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital with leg injuries.
The truck driver has since been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving causing grievous bodily harm.
At least one eastbound lane of the major thoroughfare had to be sealed off, creating a tailback which stretched several kilometres to Kwai Chung at one point.
Another accident in the opposite direction on Lung Cheung Road, near So Uk Estate, at around 8am saw Tsuen Wan-bound traffic pushed back all the way to Diamond Hill.
