Panda lovers wishing to catch a glimpse of Ocean Park's new twin cubs can opt for a VIP session each day, with registration for the private visit opening on Friday.
The pair, the first pandas to be born in Hong Kong, will make their public debut on Sunday.
Ocean Park chairman Paulo Pong said the public could meet the twins from 10am to 3pm every day, with the facility expected to welcome up to 5,000 visitors daily.
He said people could also choose to pay HK$1,500 each for a special, 30-minute visit before the park opens each day. The first visit will be on February 18.
Each session will start at around 9.30am and can accommodate up to 40 people, Pong said.
"Ticket holders can get early admission and have a dedicated session to meet the pandas. Each visitor will have to pay 1,500 dollars. After deducting costs, the revenue will be used for the park's giant panda conservation work," Pong told RTHK.
"For the sake of animal welfare, there will not be any activities for people to interact with or hold the giant pandas."
The pair of panda cubs might not appear at the same time to meet the public because they are still young, Pong added.
