Hong Kong stocks on Thursday opened lower, after Wall Street stocks were mixed at the end of a choppy session on Wednesday as US President Donald Trump signaled plans for tariffs on the European Union.
The American Chamber of Commerce in South China (AmCham South China) released on Wednesday its 2025 Special Report on the State of Business in South China, which highlighted that the world's second-largest economy continues to be an attractive investment destination.
The Hang Seng Index fell 4.2 points, or 0.02 percent, to open at 23,783. (Agencies)
