Hong Kong stocks opened lower on Friday, the final trading of February, after earnings from artificial intelligence chipmaking leader Nvidia failed to wow the market and US President Donald Trump launched fresh broadsides on trade.

The Hang Seng Index opened down 102 points, or 0.4 percent, at 23,616. (Agencies)
