Seventeen large cruise ships will visit Hong Kong this month, according to Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism Rosanna Law.
These include the newly built luxury cruises "Silver Nova" and "Queen Anne".
This weekend, four cruise ships are visiting the SAR which the Hong Kong Tourism Board said will attract 5,400 tourists.
Law said on social media that cruise guests will be arranged to join trips covering the Kai Tak Sports Park, among other locations.
She said officials will utilise the Kai Tai Cruise Terminal and its surrounding infrastructure, as Hong Kong works towards developing its cruise-tourism sector.
