Police on Wednesday said they arrested three men who are suspected of stealing electronic devices from a Hong Kong Disneyland warehouse, and handling stolen goods.

Sources told RTHK the items included computer routers and TV remote controls stored in 18 boxes, and are worth about HK$3 million.

RTHK understands that when officers went through surveillance footage, they found that a man had been to the warehouse earlier this month and he was driving a car registered under a warehouse staff member.

Sources said police suspect that the electronic goods were taken away in several rounds, and later sold to a recycling company in Sham Shui Po.

They also said the arrestees are aged between 23 and 28, and that two of them are connected to the recycling firm, while the remaining person works at the warehouse.

In response, Hong Kong Disneyland said that none of the suspects are its employees, and it would fully cooperate with the police investigation.
