RTHK has been granted free broadcasting rights for a documentary that explores the world of giant pandas and the nation's dedicated conservation efforts to protect these beloved creatures.

As part of a forum at the Hong Kong International Film and TV Market (FILMART), RTHK received the rights for "The Panda Adventure" from Sichuan Radio and Television and Beijing Radio and Television Station.

"The programme premiered in the mainland last December, garnering widespread attention," an RTHK spokesperson said.

"Professionally produced, the documentary features various locations across Giant Panda Bases and major areas of the Giant Panda National Park, showcasing the evolution and survival wisdom of giant pandas as well as the achievements of national conservation efforts."

RTHK is set to show the documentary in April.
