Tickets for next month’s friendly between Manchester United and Team Hong Kong, China, went on sale at noon on Friday, with the cheapest tickets snapped up within half an hour.
Priced from HK$390 to HK$2,990, tickets for the fixture were sold exclusively via the Cityline platform.
By 3.20pm, the most affordable seats – which cost HK$390, HK$690 and HK$990 each – were sold out, leaving the more expensive tickets as the only options.
Pre-sale tickets for the match began earlier this week exclusively for United’s supporters club.
Event organisers ProEvents didn’t disclose the percentage of tickets reserved for public sale.
The exhibition match, set for May 30 at Hong Kong Stadium, will see the Red Devils’ return to the SAR after 12 years.
