Local stocks rise at open

Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index rose 186 points, or 0.87 percent, to open at 21,603 points on Tuesday.

Mainland stocks opened mixed, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.07 percent to open at 3,260 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.02 percent higher at 9,886 points. (Xinhua)
