Police have arrested a 62-year-old woman on suspicion of illegal corpse disposal, misleading officers, and managing an unlawful gambling establishment.
On Saturday, she had reported the collapse of a man outside a shop on Yee Kuk Street in Sham Shui Po. The man was later pronounced dead at Caritas Medical Centre.
After going through surveillance camera footage, police found that the man had been moved from a nearby building towards the shop.
Police said the man had bruises on his arms, and what appeared to be syringe holes on his left hand. They also believe CPR may have been performed on his chest.
Officers had earlier searched the man's flat and they believe he worked as a part-time cleaner.
The woman has been taken into custody.
