The Hang Seng Index dipped 91.63 points, or 0.43 percent, to open at 21,303.51 points on Tuesday, the first day of trading after the Easter break.

Overnight, Wall Street sold off sharply after a fresh attack on Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell by US President Donald Trump sparked another round of selling in US assets.
