Police have arrested two men on suspicion of criminal damage.
Officers are linking the pair to a case in Yuen Long on Saturday morning.
They said a private car overtook and stopped a minibus travelling on Tai Tong Road near Shui Chiu San Tsuen.
Several men were seen getting out of the car, before approaching and arguing with the minibus driver.
It's not known what triggered the argument.
The minibus then hit the car several times before fleeing, with a man trying to hit the minibus with a hard object.
After an investigation, officers found the private car in question in Lam Hau Tsuen in Yuen Long.
Two suspects, aged 30 and 37, were later arrested.
Officers are looking for the minibus driver on suspicion of furious driving.
The case has been classified as furious driving and criminal damage.
Anti-triad officers are following up on the case.
