A taxi passenger has died following an accident on Fan Kam Road, Yuen Long, early on Friday.

The accident occurred around 2am when the Sheung Shui-bound taxi collided head-on with a car heading towards Yuen Long.

The crash occurred near Chuk Hang Village in Pat Heung.

A 41-year-old male taxi passenger was seriously injured and sent to North District Hospital.

He was pronounced dead at about 3am.

Another taxi passenger and both drivers were treated at the hospital for minor injuries.
