All tickets to board the Shandong aircraft carrier and two other naval vessels have been snapped up.

A naval fleet led by the carrier, accompanied by the Yan'an and Zhanjiang missile destroyers, and the Yuncheng missile frigate, will be in Hong Kong from July 3 to 7, with public visits scheduled for the weekend.

Visitors will also get to see training demonstrations while onboard.

Of the 10,000 tickets on offer, one fifth is designated for the aircraft carrier, while the rest are for the Zhanjiang and the Yuncheng.

The tickets were made available in three batches on Monday, at 10am, 3pm and 8pm.

All were swiftly snapped up.

It will be the fleet's first visit to the SAR.
