HSI falls over a tenth of a point at the opening

The Hang Seng Index fell 39 points or 0.16 percent to open at 24,100 on Monday.

Mainland stocks opened higher, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.09 percent to open at 3,513 points, and the Shenzhen Component Index up 0.09 percent at 10,705 points. (Xinhua)
