Hong Kong stocks ended higher on Tuesday with the benchmark Hang Seng Index up 1.6 percent to close at 24,590.12 points.
The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index rose 1.65 percent to end at 8,877.1 points, and the Hang Seng Tech Index hiked 2.8 percent to 5,431.29 points.
Mainland stocks closed mixed, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.42 percent to 3,505.00 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index closed 0.56 percent higher at 10,744.56 points.
Stocks related to sectors including the co-packaged optics, liquid-cooled server and 5th generation fixed networks led the gains, while stocks in the coal mining and processing, silicon energy, and power sectors led the losses.
The ChiNext Index, tracking China's Nasdaq-style board of growth enterprises, rose 1.73 percent to close at 2,235.05 points. (Xinhua)
