Customs on Friday arrested two men on suspicion of drug smuggling at Hong Kong International Airport after they arrived from Bangkok.
The men, aged 34 and 27, were found with about 16 and nine kilos of suspected cannabis buds inside their respective check-in bags.
Officers estimate the street value of the combined haul at HK$5.4 million.
The first case will be brought up at the Kowloon City Magistrates' Court on Saturday, while investigations continue in the second case.
