Immigration officials said on Sunday that they have arrested 19 people on suspicion of working illegally in Hong Kong and hiring those without the right to work.
They said the arrests were made following inspection of some 130 locations around the city.
The arrestees, aged between 19 and 60, were taken away from six eateries across Hong Kong, and a flat in Sham Shui Po.
Among them, 14 are suspected to be illegal workers.
Five other suspects are restaurant owners or managers, and authorities said they aren't out making further arrests.
