Hong Kong stocks ended higher on Wednesday, with the benchmark Hang Seng Index up 0.2 percent at 25,165.

The Shanghai Composite Index finished up 1.04 percent at 3,766 after hitting an intra-day high of 3,767, the highest level in nearly a decade.

The Shenzhen Component Index closed 0.9 percent higher at 11,926. (Xinhua)
