Hong Kong and mainland stocks open higher

The Hang Seng Index gained about 50 points, or 0.2 percent, to open at 25,216 on Thursday.

Mainland stocks also opened higher with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.12 percent at 3,770, and the Shenzhen Component Index up 0.33 percent at 11,965. (Xinhua)
